English Department Philosophy

*To enable young learners to understand the general meaning conveyed in communication before they can understand

individual foreign language.

*To enrich students with knowledge about various fields of life through learning the English language .

*To create an atmosphere of fun and activity while performing the material which stables the skills easily (Role play).

*To train students in the skills of logical and critical thinking through reviews, critical thinking , character analysis,

personal comments.

*To build up a lively imagination which has a very constructive role to play in the language classroom stimulus for real

language use. (Applied through Drama activities).

*To create awareness to provide pupils with lots of small , achievable steps as they begin to read so they learn to read

without any difficulty and enjoy the process ( Applied in the reading scheme classes).
