Grades are awarded every quarter
according to an assessment plan based on the curricular standard. Students are provided with information about key assessment prior to completion and expectation are made clear at all times.
Throughout the school year, students take external standardized tested. These tests measure students skills and progress and help students to identify strengths and weaknesses in their learning. They are used by the school to improve curriculum and instruction and help students learn.
Behavior, participation, effort and other work skills are all very important in the development of well-rounded learners. These non-academic factors are mentioned by teacher and reported separately from a child's academic performance grade.
